The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights intends to launch in October 2010 a negotiated procedure for a low value contract for the provision of services related to the
thematic studies on specific fundamental rights issues in the MAF areas on a national level for the following countries:
The main objective of these national thematic studies is to provide country specific information on developments in the areas of the multi-annual framework (MAF) of the Fundamental Rights Agency (the FRA) in 2010 (please see also: Multi-annual Framework (MAF) for the FRA on http://fra.europa.eu/fraWebsite/about_fra/key_documents/key_documents_en.htm ).
The information provided will contribute to the FRA Annual Report 2011. The upcoming Annual Report is supposed to a) provide data across the Member States that allow for comparison and b) put more focus on the identification of trends. This includes general developments related to:
• State of affaires (new information and data that were of wider relevance in the reference period
• Legal developments (e.g. adoption of new laws etc.)
• Good practices (information on good practices made available during the reference period).
