The European Parliament's Civil Liberties Committee (LIBE) will hold a hearing on 20 March, aimed at revisiting the current state of EU legislation on equal treatment, equality and non-discrimination before and after the Lisbon Treaty, identifying its scope and limitations across fields of application and grounds of discrimination.
The FRA will participate in the hearing, which will also address concrete obstacles to the adoption of a comprehensive Anti-Discrimination Directive, including costs.
