The FRA will officially launch its Annual Report 2011 in the European Parliament at the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) in Brussels on 20 June. The presentation can be watched live. Every year, the FRA Annual Report reveals the positive fundamental rights developments and challenges facing the EU and its Member States, drawn from objective, reliable and comparable socio-legal data. The report covers all areas where the agency is active. This year, the focus section looks at the fundamental rights landscape in Europe today. The section tells how the various institutions, rights and mechanisms work together to bring these rights to life for everyone in the EU. The FRA will also discuss the report in the EU Council's Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP) on 19 June.
