FRA takes part in Universal Design 2012 conference

The FRA will take part in the Universal Design 2012 conference in Oslo from 11-13 June in the context of its work on accessibility for people with disabilities.

The FRA will take part in the Universal Design 2012 conference in Oslo from 11-13 June in the context of its work on accessibility for people with disabilities. The conference will address topics related to universal design in legislation, politics, education, buildings, information and communication technologies and public transport. As well as gathering information regarding promising practices and the added value of mainstreaming universal design, the conference will be an opportunity to discuss with participants the results of FRA's project on the rights of people with mental health problems and people with intellectual disabilities, launched in Copenhagen on 7 June.
