Conference on right-wing extremism and hate crime

The Oslo Conference on “Right-wing Extremism and Hate Crime: Minorities under Pressure in Europe and Beyond” has been organised by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The conference will bring together international experts to discuss challenges and possible solutions related to the rise of right-wing extremism and hate crime directed towards minorities in Europe and beyond. FRA Director Morten Kjaerum will address the nature and extent of the problem of hate crime in the EU today, stressing particularly the need for more reliable data on hate crime. The title of his address will be: Innocent Figures: Why We Need More Facts.
