This year the theme is 'Social Action in Europe: Towards Inclusive Policies and Practice'. The FRA Director will give one of the opening keynote addresses where he will present the role of social workers in promoting fundamental rights of vulnerable social groups in times of economic crisis. His speech will focus on Roma, migrants and people with disabilities. Elderly people, healthcare and well-being, sustainable development and social action are other issues that will be discussed at the conference.
ENSACT is a European network of professional associations, faculties of social work and social education, and national councils of social welfare. It brings together five European organisations engaged in social work and social development.
