FRA Director to speak at Migration Policy Institute

The FRA Director has been invited to give a presentation at the Migration Policy Institute in Washington DC on the European approach to anti-discrimination and the progress made on this matter.

The Director’s presentation will draw on the Agency’s recent Opinion on the situation of equality in the EU. He will also take this opportunity to meet with relevant officials and counterparts to exchange views on fundamental rights issues in the EU, and talk about FRA’s work. The Director has also been invited to give a briefing at the World Bank, visit the Holocaust Memorial Museum and meet with US State Department to give an update on the agency’s work on Roma, antisemitism and discrimination. The schedule of meetings is coordinated by the Delegation of the European Union to the United States.
