The representatives come from 11 Eastern European countries including Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. They are part of a study visit, taking place from 9 to 11 September 2013, as part of the Prague Process, an intergovernmental policy dialogue in the area of migration. They will also hear presentations from the Austrian Ministry of Interior, ICMPD, representatives from Germany and the Czech Republic dealing with irregular migration statistics, the International Organization for Migration, Statistics Austria and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
Intergovernmental policy dialogue meeting learns about FRA data collection
FRA will present its data collection activities to governmental representatives from Eastern European countries visiting the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
