OPEN DAY AT THE FRA - 10 APRIL 2014

 

Ahead of the annual FRP meeting, FRA again invites all FRP participants to visit its premises
in Vienna, to get an up-close look at its work and identify synergies.

The aim of the Open Day is to:

  • Provide an opportunity for FRP participants to visit FRA premises and meet our experts face-to-face;
  • Inform FRP organisations about the agency’s work in specific thematic areas;
  • Exchange views and ideas on issues of joint concern.

PROGRAMME

 

The timeframe dedicated to the Open Door event will be from 9.30 to 12:00 on 10 April 2014.

The registration for the FRP meeting will then start from 12:00 at the Wien Messe and will last one hour, during which a sandwich lunch will be served. The start of the FRP meeting will be at 13h sharp.

Welcome and introduction

The Open Day will start with a half-hour welcome session in the conference room, where all guests will be offered a general introduction into the agency’s mandate and scope of activities.

Meetings

Then, there will be 2 consecutive rounds of meetings, covering each 6 topics from among the FRA’s current projects. FRA experts and project managers will meet FRP participants. The aim of each roundtable includes:

  1. to provide information about FRA work in this specific subject area;
  2. to hear about FRP organisations’ work in this area – exploring common synergies.

09:30 – 10:00 Introduction into FRA’s mandate and scope of activities with Questions & Answers
10:05 – 11:00 First round of 6 meetings
11:05 – 12:00 Second round of 6 meetings
