Expert meeting on the policy needs for data on crime

On 9 November FRA will attend the meeting of a group of experts on the policy needs for data on crime.

The work of the group of experts is coordinated by DG Home, and the meetings bring together Commission services (DG Home, DG Justice, Eurostat, others), Member State representatives and independent experts to discuss the current data needs and plans for further data collection initiatives. FRA will share information on the agency’s work in the area of victims of crime, including surveys on violence against women, hate crime and the upcoming EU MIDIS II survey on minorities and discrimination, as well as FRA’s recent reports on victim support services and children and justice.
