These include representatives of associations of health practitioners, international organisations (European Commission, WHO, UNDP), national health policy makers as well as academia and civil society organisations. The workshop aims to raise awareness of the data gaps and identify concrete capacity-building needs for different target groups, and connect duty bearers and rights holders to jointly address the health inequalities that LGBTI people face as evidenced by FRA’s LGBT survey. The workshop will also be a stepping stone in the further preparation of the report on the views and experiences of public officials and professionals in 19 EU Member States on the rights of LGBT people that FRA will launch on 16 March in the European Parliament.
