The partnership aims to better promote common values, to draw attention to human rights emergencies and to bring facts to heated and challenging discussions. At the festival, the Agency will host eight film screenings, followed by panel discussions with film directors, artists, human rights practitioners and the audience.
The panels will zoom into specific human rights dilemmas such as belonging, security and human rights and art, rights, justice. By exploring stories from lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people, migrants and asylum seekers, host communities, authorities, people with disabilities, children, media and many more, the films will aim to challenge, provoke and inspire opinions and reflections.
The full programme of the festival, including the panel discussions hosted by FRA is available on the festival website.
