Children deprived of liberty: UN Global Study expert meeting

From 10 to 11 April, the Agency will take part in the second expert meeting on the UN Global Study on children deprived of liberty.

The aim of this meeting is to discuss and agree on how to carry out the UN Global Study. The Agency will provide input from its opinions and research, such as in its reports on Child-friendly justice, Independent living, children with disabilities and immigration detention of children, as well as the outcomes of the 11th European Forum on the rights of the child that was devoted to investigating the vulnerabilities of children affected by deprivation of liberty and alternatives to detention.

The meeting is being organised by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights in Vienna.
