Towards supporting Romania during its EU Presidency

On 16 and 17 April, the FRA Director will visit Bucharest to explore with Romanian government representatives how FRA can best support Romania with fundamental rights advice and expertise during the country’s first Presidency of the EU Council.

While there, he will hold talks with the Minister Delegate for European Affairs, the State Secretary for Foreign and European Affairs, and other high-level representatives. He will also meet with the Agency’s partners in Romania, including organisations who are members of the bodies of the Agency and national bodies responsible for human rights.

He will also give a public lecture at the National University of Political Science and Public Administration on the EU experience of delivering human rights for our people. The lecture can be watched via live stream from 4pm CET.
