The annual meeting of the Fundamental Rights Platform will take place online on 10 November.

This year’s meeting is devoted to the rule of law. It will explore how civil society can strengthen rule of law in the European Union and vice versa.

Oleksandra Matviychuk of the Centre for Civil Liberties in Ukraine, joint recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize 2022, will address participants.

European Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders will join for an interactive conversation.

Many high-level experts and civil society leaders will guide practical breakout discussions and other exchanges.

The meeting is hosted by FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty.

The meeting is built on the European Commission’s annual report on the rule of law and FRA’s 2022 annual update on civic space in the EU.

Registration is now open for Fundamental Rights Platform organisations.
