FRA’s Scientific Committee will hold its 40th meeting on 27 February at the Agency. At this meeting, the FRA Director and the Heads of Departments will update the Scientific Committee on recent developments.
On 28 February, the Agency hosts an expert meeting with the objective of discussing the fundamental rights implications of big data.
On 28 February and 1 March, FRA will join the meeting in Brussels of the High Level Group (HLG) on Non-Discrimination, Equality and Diversity and provide members of the HLG with a debriefing from the meeting of the Subgroup on Equality Data held on 25 January in Brussels, which was facilitated by FRA.

The Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir will visit the Agency on 23 February.
Representatives of the Human Rights Bureau in Japan, a nationwide administration tasked with promoting and protecting human rights, will visit the Agency on 23 February.
On 22 February, the Agency will take part in a seminar in Warsaw on applying the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights for legal professionals.
The Agency will discuss ways to enhance civil society space in the EU with NGOs during an expert roundtable organised by the Open Society European Policy Institute and Open Society Justice Initiative on 21 February in Brussels.
The Agency will its priorities for the year ahead to the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on 20 February in Brussels.
