The Italian Parliamentary Committee for the Intelligence and Security Services and for State Secret Control will hold a conference in Rome on 17 January on the Agency’s second surveillance report that was published in November 2017.

The Agency will present its second EU Minorities and Discrimination Survey (EU-MIDIS II) at the International Migration Statistics Forum.
The Agency will present its work to the German Human Rights Forum (Forum Menschenrechte), the umbrella network of German human rights NGOs in Wuppertal on 18 January.
The Agency will release its report on ‘Challenges facing civil society organisations working on human rights in the EU’ on 18 January 2018.
At the first meeting of the Terrorism Working Party of the Council of the European Union under Bulgarian presidency, the Agency will present its second report on ‘Surveillance by intelligence services: fundamental rights safeguards and remedies in the EU’.
The Agency’s Director, Michael O’Flaherty, will contribute to the International Diversity Forum organised by the OECD Centre for Opportunity and Equality in cooperation with the Club XXIe Siècle.

On 14-15 December, the Agency will host a group of more than 40 judges and prosecutors who are visiting Vienna in the framework of a study visit organised by the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), a platform which promotes training and exchange of knowledge of the European judiciary.
