Heads of EU institutions in Austria will introduce the new FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty to EU ambassadors and diplomats responsible for bilateral relations with Austria and international organisations based in Vienna on 15 February in Vienna.
FRA will present its report on Violence against children with disabilities at the first ever event co-hosted by both the Disability and the Child Rights Intergroups of the European Parliament.
The FRA Director Michael O’Flaherty will address the European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs in Brussels on 17 February regarding the EU’s implementation on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
FRA will present findings from its labour exploitation research during a meeting at the European Parliament in Brussels on 18 February that will look at the role of trade unions and civil society organisations in helping to guard against discrimination when it comes to labour mobility.

On 19 February in Amsterdam, FRA will take part in the first-ever meeting of the European Network for Victims' Rights that is being established during the Dutch Presidency to strengthen the legal position of crime victims.

FRA is stepping up its efforts to assist Member States in monitoring forced returns by air by hosting a 1-week training course from 22-26 February.

FRA will take part in meetings of the EU Agency Network in Brussels on 17-18 February, organised by the current Chair, the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound).
On 19 February in Amsterdam, FRA will give a presentation at a seminar organised by the Dutch EU Presidency on the national policy application of the EU Charter of fundamental Rights.

Professor Julia Laffranque, a judge at the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), will give a presentation to FRA staff on the Court’s work and issues of fundamental rights on 5 February.
