FRA will launch its latest child rights report ‘Child-friendly justice, perspectives and experiences of professionals’ on 5 May in Brussels, during two live radio debates with Members of the European Parliament.

FRA’s new report on ‘Severe labour exploitation: workers moving within or into the European Union - States’ obligations and victims’ rights’ will be presented in Brussels on 2 June. In order to disseminate the results as widely as possible, FRA has invited communication experts from civil society organisations and national human rights bodies who have expertise in the area of severe labour exploitation, to develop together with FRA a complementary communication strategy.
The FRA Scientific Committee will hold its 29th Meeting on 11 May at FRA.
FRA and the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe will launch papers on the rights of intersex people at the IDAHO Forum meeting in Montenegro on 12 May.
FRA will launch the report from its ‘Severe labour exploitation in the EU’ project at a high-level event at the Council of the EU on 2 June in Brussels.

FRA will take part in a two-day event in Bucharest from 4 to 5 May looking at resettlement support for the cross-border transfer of prisoners.

FRA, in cooperation with Equinet (the European Network of Equality Bodies) and ENNHRI (the European Network of NHRIs), will host a meeting in Vienna from 4 to 5 May to discuss how to further their cooperation in communicating on fundamental rights across Europe.
FRA, in its role as a member of the EU Framework to promote, protect and monitor the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, will take part in a meeting between the Framework and national monitoring mechanisms on 30 April in Brussels.
FRA will contribute to discussions on detention in the EU during an event in Vienna on 29 April organised by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights and the Human Rights Implementation Centre of the University of Bristol.
FRA will give a speech at a major conference on the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights in Riga on 28 April, during a session that looks at the impact of the Charter on the application of EU law.
FRA will take part in a panel discussion on 27 April on human rights indicators in the EU at the European Training and Research Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Graz.
