FRA will take part in the workshop ‘Data Collection for Social Surveys using Multiple Modes’ in Wiesbaden on 4-5 September 2014.
On 4 September 2014, the FRA Director, Morten Kjaerum, will present the Agency’s Annual report on the situation of Fundamental Rights to the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE).
FRA will give a presentation during the European Police College’s public webinar ‘Diversity and Non-discrimination’ on 10 September.

From 23 to 27 September there will be an international academy in Graz to train public officials on how to manage human rights in cities.
A first-ever thematic platform meeting between FRA, the Council of Europe, the European Network of Equality Bodies (Equinet) and the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) will discuss asylum and migrant rights at FRA on 24 September.
On 28 October 2014, the Italian Presidency of the Council of the EU, in cooperation with the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the General Secretariat of the Council will host the high-level conference “Tackling sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination: next steps in EU and Member State policy making”. The event will take place in the Council of the EU premises (Justus Lipsius) in Brussels.

The European Asylum Support Office has invited FRA to participate in its expert meetings on age assessment and on family tracing and best interest considerations in relation to the Dublin Regulation on asylum applications.
The FRA Director has been invited by the Minister for Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and Legislation of the Czech Republic to present the work of FRA and explore avenues of future cooperation.
FRA will hold a preparatory meeting of the Working Party on Hate Crime on 17 July at the agency.

FRA will host the 5th meeting of the Ad-Hoc Working Party on Roma integration indicators on 15-16 July.
On 15 July, the FRA Director will present the Agency’s Annual report on fundamental rights challenges and achievements in 2013 to the Council Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens' Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP) in Brussels.
On 18 July, FRA will present the handbook on European law relating to asylum, borders and immigration to the Council Working Party on Frontiers - a Council preparatory body that deals with legislation related to border control issues.
