On 4 July, FRA’s Director presented the key findings of its Fundamental Rights Report 2016 in Rome at an event co-hosted by Italy’s equality body, UNAR, and the Italian Government’s Inter-Ministerial Committee for Human Rights, in the presence of the Minister for Constitutional Reforms and Equal Opportunities.
On 27 June, FRA presented the key findings of its Fundamental Rights Report 2016 to the French authorities at a workshop organised by the International and European Affairs Service of the French Ministry of Justice, the French National Liaison Officer of the Fundamental Rights Agency.

On 16 June in Brussels, FRA will present its Opinion on the requirements under the UN Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities (CRPD) within the EU context to the European Parliament’s Employment and Social Affairs Committee.
On 15 June, FRA will take part in a meeting of the AGE Platform taskforce on Human Rights and Non-Discrimination to discuss the challenges older people face in the protection or enjoyment of their human rights.
