On 7 April, FRA experts will give a training session on “EU fundamental rights framework and the role of the EU Agency for fundamental rights” to staff of the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU.
On 1 April, the Director of FRA, Morten Kjaerum, will host a meeting to discuss the FRA’s survey on violence against women and its follow-up with OSCE representatives, in co-operation with the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship.
FRA will give a speech at the 26th Session of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe. The speech will focus on best practices for implementing human rights locally and regionally in Council of Europe member states and other countries.
On 13-14 March, the FRA Director will take part in the high-level international conference “What Europe stands for: Growth, jobs and rights: will the European Union rise to the occasion?”, jointly hosted by the Presidents of the Italian and Greek Parliaments.
FRA will take part in the General Assembly Meeting of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI) and in the 27th General meeting of the International Coordinating Committee of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (ICC27).
