This 3-day ‘Train the trainers: Diversity Workshop' in cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Romania; Centre for Independent Journalism in Romania; Centre for Independent Journalism in Romania; Centre for Independent Journalism in Hungary and the Media Development Centre in Bulgaria brings together participants from Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania and is a practical training workshop, focusing on an inclusive way of media content development.
Together with the representations from the European Commission and the European Parliament in Austria, the FRA will be hosting an infostand at the Heldenplatz on the occasion of Austria's national holiday.
The 5th EU Anti-Trafficking Day will take place in Warsaw, Poland on 18 October 2011. This year the event, "Together Against Trafficking in Human Beings", will address trafficking in human beings, conservatively estimated to be around 2.5 million people globally.
On 22-23 September 2011 the FRA is hosting a roundtable event jointly organised with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights, entitled 'Rights to equality, life and security of the person: bridging the gap for transgender people'.
