FRA will moderate the session ‘Fostering equality legislation and promoting non-discrimination policies’ during the European Commission’s Annual Colloquium on Fundamental Rights in Brussels on 2 October.
On 29 September, FRA will present its Focus paper ‘The fundamental rights situation of intersex people’ to the Council Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens' Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP).
On 28 September, FRA will host a Turkish delegation of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the High Council of Judges and Prosecutors, the Constitutional Court, Court of Cassation and Council of State.
FRA will participate in a consensus-building conference concluding the first phase of the participatory needs assessment in Mantova, Italy, on 26 September, which is part of its local engagement for Roma inclusion (LERI) project.
Around 20 experts will come to FRA on 25 September to discuss the interview questions that will be used in the Agency’s project on the fundamental rights implications of using biometric data in large EU IT-systems in the areas of borders, visa and asylum.
