Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol of Thailand, who recently became Chairperson of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice, visited the FRA to hear about FRA's work on access to justice, crime victimisation and its research methodology.
FRA Director Morten Kjaerum welcomed her Royal Highness with a short introduction on fundamental rights in the 21st century, followed by presentations by the Head of Communication, Friso Roscam Abbing, and FRA researchers. The Chairperson highlighted the possibility for co-operation between FRA and the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.
The focus for its twenty-first session is on "Violence against migrants, migrant workers and their families".
