Update on FRA project on treatment of third-country nationals at external borders

By the end of March field research has been completed in two airports out of the eleven border crossing points covered by the study, namely Schiphol in the Netherlands and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

So far, the FRA has visited six border crossing points, and will visit the Polish-Ukrainian border around 16-20 April. During these visits the FRA collects the experiences of up to 45 border guards on a number of issues relating to fundamental rights through a closed questionnaire. The field research is complemented by interviews with third country national passengers.
