Brussels debate focuses on the future of identity

On 28 November, FRA took part in a one-day debate entitled “The Future of Identity” in Brussels.

The event was organised by Forum Europe, hosted by Giesecke & Devrient and supported by the European Network and Information Security Agency, ENISA.

It brought together 150 policy makers and practitioners from the EU to explore the changing nature of identity in the digital age. Discussions covered issues such as digital identity, ethics in ICT, identity management, data protection and eGovernment. It was also an opportunity for FRA to raise awareness about itself and how it works.
