Discussion on how EU policies relate to undocumented children in cities

FRA took part in a round table discussion on “Exploring the relevance of EU agendas for cities engaging with undocumented children” on 27 September in Brussels.

The meeting was organised by the Open Society European Policy Institute. It explored the potential relevance of EU policy agendas for service provision to undocumented children in cities. FRA presented its views based on its research on irregular migrants and on separated -asylum seeking children in EU. FRA’s new ‘Joining up fundamental rights’ toolkit on how to implement fundamental rights across all levels and sectors of government was also presented to participants
