FRA spoke at the European Parliament during a workshop on civil law and justice on 23 January.
The meeting was organised by the Parliament’s Committee on Legal Affairs and was attended by representatives from national parliaments. FRA spoke about the fundamental rights perspective of the European Commission’s proposals for Council regulations on matrimonial property regimes and the property consequences of registered partnerships. The agency’s contribution drew from its opinion on this subject from May 2012.
