Giving victims a face and a voice - Fundamental Rights Conference 2013 to focus on combating hate crime

Crimes motivated by hatred and prejudice are a daily reality for too many people in the EU. This video highlights some of the issues that will be discussed during this year’s Fundamental Rights Conference.

The conference will take place on 12-13 November in Vilnius, Lithuania. It will invite decision makers and practitioners to explore effective strategies to combat crimes motivated by hatred and prejudice at the national as well as EU level.

Discussions will address the most pertinent issues relevant for policy making in the field and explore effective strategies to combat hate crime through legal and policy measures.
