FRA presents advance results of the Violence against women survey to the Council

On 12 February FRA presented advance findings of the world's largest survey on violence against women to the Council Working Party on Fundamental Rights, Citizens' Rights and Free Movement of Persons (FREMP).

The EU-wide survey responds to a request for data on violence against women from the European Parliament, which was reiterated by the Council of the EU in its Conclusions on the Eradication of Violence against Women in the European Union”. The survey results will be publicly presented on 5 March in the Council of the EU in Brussels.
