Greece discusses child poverty and social exclusion

FRA spoke on 8 May to the Special Permanent Committee of the Greek Parliament on Equality, Youth and Human Rights about its research on child poverty and social exclusion.

The following day it took part in a panel discussion during a consultation meeting organised by the Greek Ombudsman, in collaboration with the European Commission and Eurochild, and under the auspices of the Greek Presidency. Both events aimed at promoting the implementation of the 2013 Commission Recommendation on Investing in children: breaking the cycle of disadvantage.
