The event was organised in Brussels by the International Juvenile Justice Observatory to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The conference allowed policy makers, representatives of international and civil society organisations to exchange good practices and views on the way forward in reforming juvenile justice. The event specifically aimed at aligning existing practices with international legal obligations and other UN standards in the area of justice and children. FRA presented its findings on children and justice during the plenary institutional panel on EU activities in the area of juvenile justice: how to impact national practices and realities.
