Conference focuses on political participation and independent living for people with disabilities

On 26 and 27 February, FRA took part in the Zero Project Conference on independent living and political participation for people with disabilities.

FRA moderated a session on accessible elections and voting processes, presenting the findings of its human rights indicators on the right to political participation of persons with disabilities. These findings, as well as FRA’s work on independent living for persons with psychosocial or intellectual disabilities, fed into the 2015 Zero Project Report, which was launched during the conference.
