FRA surveillance report presented at intelligence services & law event

FRA presented the findings from its ‘National intelligence authorities and surveillance in the EU: Fundamental rights safeguards and remedies’ report at an intelligence services and law event in Vienna on 26 November.

The high-level event was organised by the Austrian Computer Society. Discussions focused on privacy concerns surrounding the use of big data by public authorities in light of the recent Schrems court decision and in the wake of the attacks in Paris.
