FRA publishes second monthly update on fundamental rights and migration

FRA has published its second monthly update on fundamental rights and migration in Member States that have seen the greatest numbers of asylum seekers and migrants.

This second report covers developments and challenges during January 2016. Among other things, it notes the increased number of children among new arrivals, describes incidents relating to the dangerous crossing of the sea in Greece and Italy, criminal proceedings against people aiding migrants or migrants themselves in Sweden, Hungary and Bulgaria as well as violent incidents involving accommodation facilities in Germany.
