Mainstreaming fundamental rights: Case studies based on the fundamental rights-based police training manual

The European Police College (CEPOL) held a capacity-building workshop to train law enforcement officers from all 28 Member States from 17 to 18 November in Lisbon.

The Agency presented its Compendium of Good practices for tackling hate crime, its Fundamental rights-based police training manual and the state of play at the EU level concerning hate crime legislation. The overall aim of the workshop was to provide law enforcement officials with up-to-date information in identifying hate crime, including hate speech, and in taking appropriate actions to investigate these crimes.
