Further strengthening ties between FRA and the EEA and Norway Grants

The EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) of the EEA and Norway Grants signed an exchange of letters on the implementation of their administrative cooperation agreement on 14 December in Vienna.

The FMO Director, Henning Stirø, and FRA Director, Michael O’Flaherty, agreed to the terms and conditions for cooperation between the two institutions. FRA will be the International Partner Organisation supporting numerous programmes in Greece, the Czech Republic, and other beneficiary states of the EEA and Norway Grants. In particular, it will support the development and implementation of Roma inclusion and empowerment programmes, building on its extensive experience in this area.

The agreement marks a further step in the relationship between the two strategic partners in their work on advancing human rights across Europe.
