It was jointly organised by the European Commission, the European Police College (Cepol) and the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. The Agency provided expertise on fundamental rights issues in relation to processing personal data, procedural safeguards and proportionality considerations applicable in the context of police cooperation and the Schengen Information System (SIS II).
Police cooperation training for Schengen evaluations
On 12 December 2016, the Agency provided training on fundamental rights issues in Schengen evaluations on police cooperation. The training took place in Tallinn between 12-15 December.
