Romanian Parliament discusses FRA’s Fundamental Rights Report 2017

On 16 October, the Agency presented key findings from its Fundamental Rights Report 2017 in Bucharest at the Romanian Parliament.

Romanian parliamentarians from the Committee for Human Rights, Cults and National Minorities Issues of the Romanian Parliament and the Head of the the Romanian Institute for Human Rights – IRDO attended the event. Racism, xenophobia and related intolerance, Roma integration and child poverty were discussed. The participants underlined the need for these events to increase the visibility of the Fundamental Rights Report 2017 at national level as well for reinforcing cooperation and awareness among national stakeholders.
