Human rights education opportunities outlined during OSCE’s Human Dimension meeting

The Agency outlined some of the key challenges for the human rights education in the EU during OSCE’s Human Dimension meeting in Vienna on 8 and 9 October

It pointed out possible ways of advancing fundamental rights learning for everyone in the EU using 10 key principles in communicating rights and modern technology.

The OSCE’s Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights invited FRA to address the Supplementary Human Dimension Meeting on the topic human rights and education. It followed the conclusions of the Working Group on inclusive education at the Fundamental Rights Forum 2018 and the meeting of the International Contact Group on human rights and citizenship education, which FRA hosted.
