Inga Rudecka joined FRA on 1 February 2012, working as a Seconded National Expert, on the analysis of EU policy making and policy developments in the area of freedom, security and justice of the EU. Her particular area of expertise at the FRA is the protection of privacy and personal data, one of the thematic areas of the FRA’s Multiannual Frameworks. She is also responsible for cooperation of the FRA with the Council of the EU and its preparatory bodies.
Prior to coming to FRA, she has been an expert of the Polish Ministry of Interior since 2003, during which time she worked as a Seconded National Expert in the European Commission’s Access to Information Unit of DG Home, from 2009-2011.
She holds Master’s degrees in Political and Social Sciences and in the Political Economy of the Countries in Post-Communist Transition.
