Notes:

'Leading' cases relate to the supervision of leading case execution and are those that the Council of Europe identified as non-repetitive and illustrating a structural or general problem in the state concerned, for which legislative or other measures must be taken, according to the ECtHR. The table highlights the four highest numbers of cases and the amount of just satisfaction awarded in the respective year.
