Toutefois, elles sont confrontées à des difficultés en matière d’éducation, ainsi que pour trouver du travail et joindre les deux bouts, comme le révèle la dernière enquête de l’Agence des droits fondamentaux de l’Union européenne (FRA). Les mesures susceptibles de contribuer au respect des droits des victimes font défaut ou ne sont pas bien utilisées. À l’occasion de la journée européenne des victimes de la criminalité, la FRA invite les pays de l’UE à mieux protéger les victimes, à améliorer le soutien aux victimes et à faciliter le signalement des infractions.
