Audience at the 4th FRP meeting
4th annual Fundamental Rights Platform meeting
Vienna, 14-15 April 2011
In 2011 the FRP meeting focused on three themes – access to justice: how civil society organisations can help victims to claim their rights; cooperation between civil society and the FRA; and participation of civil society organisations in the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Besides plenary discussions, the FRP meetings are also an opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking. During ‘The floor is yours’, FRP participants hosted over 30 interactive workshops on a variety of fundamental rights issues. ‘Talking Tables’ provided an opportunity to meet FRA experts and give feedback to ongoing FRA projects.
