Introduction

FRA's research projects

The research projects developed by the FRA are based on the Agency's annual Work Programme. Following the adoption of the Multi-annual Framework (MAF), the Agency's areas of activity have been extended beyond racism, xenophobia and related intolerance, which nevertheless remain an important part of its activities permanently.
The ongoing projects developed by the FRA originate from different sources: Management Board members (MB), EU institutions (EU) or the FRA Director. Research areas may also be suggested by National Liaison Officers or Civil society organisations through their comments on the Agency's draft Work Programme.
