Discriminated against? Who can help you?

Harassment, discrimination and victimisation must not be ignored. This requires that people know their rights.
FRA is not empowered to deal itself with individual complaints, nor does it have the authority to monitor particular European Union Member States for the purposes of determining the existence of human rights violations. However organisations in your Member State, at the European and international level have been put in place to assist you.

National Equality Bodies 

National Equality Bodies for the promotion of equal treatment, designated in all EU Member States according to the EU Racial Equality Directive in order to:

  • provide independent assistance to the victims of discrimination,
  • conduct surveys and studies,
  • and publish independent reports and recommendations;

National Human Rights Institutions
