The FRA will host a workshop on how we cooperate with civil society entitled ‘Mechanisms for Civil Society to Cooperate with FRA' during the conference ‘Where Do We Stand? A Map For Human Rights'. The conference is one of the annual events organised by United for Intercultural Action - a European network of over 500 NGOs working against racism, discrimination, hate crimes, and intolerance in general.

The conference will bring about 80 NGO activists and representatives of international organisations from about 30 states of the Council of Europe (most of them EU Member States), who will discuss such issues as hate crime, anti-Muslim attitude in Europe, empowerment of minority communities, refugees and asylum seekers rights, anti-racism educational tools and strategies and media monitoring.
