FRA speaks at European Parliamentary hearing on fundamental rights in the EU

On 5 November, the FRA Director will take part in a hearing of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs. He will speak about the fundamental rights situation in the EU and how to strengthen fundamental rights, democracy and the rule of law in the EU.

The hearing takes place in the framework of the European Parliament’s report on fundamental rights. The hearing will bring together EU decision makers as well as international actors, NGOs and National Human Rights Institutions to discuss how fundamental rights, democracy and the rule of law can be enhanced at the EU level.

More information about the hearing can be found on the LIBE Committee page on the European Parliament website.
