It will bring together officials from governments and international organisations, as well as representatives from Roma civil society and academia. The objective is to focus on anti-Gypsyism in Europe, share experiences, good examples and discuss possible actions to address this critical situation. After the meeting the Swedish Ministry of Employment will put together a short report compiling best practices and good examples presented in the meeting. FRA has contributed with a background paper with data and information from recent FRA reports on discrimination and racist crime.
Roundtable meeting on anti-Gypsyism in Europe
FRA will take part in a roundtable meeting of anti-Gypsyism, organised by the Swedish government, in close cooperation with the Council of Europe.
